Welcome to Spotsy Nation Youth Football, where young athletes are trained to compete with heart, grow with discipline, and lead with pride. Through every drill, snap, and touchdown, our program builds more than athletes—it builds character, confidence, and community.
The Spotsylvania Youth Football Association (SYFA) proudly offers a competitive and developmental football program for boys ages 6 to 11. Each age group is led by a committed Head Coach who emphasizes skill development, safety, and sportsmanship at every level of play.
Our teams are organized by age, with divisions designed to meet players where they are physically and developmentally:
6U (Under 6) – An introductory level focused on basic fundamentals, motor skills, and learning the game through fun and structure
7U (Under 7) – Builds on core concepts with more team coordination and an introduction to live play
8U (Under 8) – Expands football knowledge and technique while emphasizing teamwork and game awareness
9U (Under 9) – Focuses on player positioning, advanced fundamentals, and situational football
10U (Under 10) – Competitive gameplay, deeper strategy, and leadership development on and off the field
11U (Under 11) – Prepares athletes for the next level with advanced skill-building, conditioning, and competitive intensity
Each team practices with purpose and plays with pride, representing the core values of Cougar Nation: responsibility, respect, and relentless effort. Whether your child is new to the sport or returning for another season, our football program provides a powerful foundation for both athletic and personal growth.
